Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Mirlo application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account. Notify us immediately at support@mirlo.social if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Accounts created with false or misleading information may be suspended.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post, share, or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Share content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
• Distribute spam, malware, or any other unsolicited communications.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of the content you post on Mirlo. By posting content, you grant Mirlo a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and deliver that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you share. We do not endorse any user-generated content.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate. We may do so without prior notice.

You may delete your account at any time via the Settings screen in the app. Upon deletion, a 7-day grace period begins. Your account will be permanently deleted after 7 days. You can cancel the deletion by logging in during the grace period.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, with or without notice.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mirlo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
