How do I connect with someone?

Go to the Search tab, search for their username, and send a connection request. Once they accept, you're connected — and you'll both see each other's posts.

Why can't I follow someone without them following back?

Mirlo only supports mutual connections. Both sides have to agree. This keeps your feed full of people you actually know and trust.

How do I respond to a post?

Tap the "Respond" button on any post in your feed. This opens a direct message conversation pre-loaded with a reference to that post — no public comments.

What's the difference between a feed post and a profile post?

Feed-only posts appear in your connections' feeds but not on your profile — they disappear once they scroll off. Profile posts stay on your profile grid permanently (until you delete them).

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Delete Account". Your account enters a 7-day grace period — you can cancel by logging in again. After 7 days, everything is permanently deleted.

Can I recover my account after deleting it?

Yes, but only within the 7-day grace period after deletion. Simply log in again and the deletion will be cancelled. After 7 days, recovery is not possible.

I'm not receiving SMS verification codes.

Check that your phone number is entered correctly with the right country code. If the issue persists, wait a few minutes and try again, or contact us below.

How do I report a user?

Visit the user's profile, tap the three-dot menu, and select "Report". We review all reports and take appropriate action.
